JebChem 1710AQ
JebChem 1710AQ is a superior polyether modified silicone defoamer for all low-to-high PVC architectural, industrial and printing waterborne coating formulations. It can also be used in waterborne UV-curable coatings. JebChem 1710AQ presents outstanding foam-knockdown performance without impairing gloss development. This additive can be applied in both mill-base and letdown process.

Roller Test
Roller test method which is applied for evaluation of foam by roller application. To intensify foam formation, a roller with extremely large pores is used.
JebChem 1710AQ shows the best performance of foam knockdown while JebChem 1805AQ is better than the competitors’ products.

Conclusion
Foam bubbles can already be present in the paint before application starts. Foam can also be introduced during the application process; especially during brushing and spraying, air can be brought into the paint. JebChem 1710AQ help formulators to develop a paint that loses its foam as soon as application has finished and film formation proceeds.
