JebChem 7602 is produced by an advanced chemical precipitation process. In paint and printing inks, JebChem 7602 produces a non-glossy surface together with a smooth touch and high transparency.

2K PU Matte Coat Formulation

2K PU Matte Coat Formulation

– Base paint and matting agent were mixed with shaker for 15 minutes.

– Measured agglomerate particle size and KU viscosity.

Panel Preparation

– Drawdown on paper card at 100 microns of wet film thickness then leave overnight for drying.

– Measure gloss at 60°.

– Measure colour data compare to STD paint by spectrophotometer.

Conclusion

For 2K PU system, the matting efficiency of JebChem 7602 is better than COMP 1400 at the same dosage. Meanwhile, the dosage of JebChem 7602 can be reduced by 2.5% to achieve the same gloss level as STD paint.
